In our ‘City’ episode of The Common Thread, Darius meets students, young workers and foreign residents. He learns that connecting with others, becoming more aware of our thoughts and making small changes to our lifestyle can help improve our mental health. “You can very easily go about your day without speaking to a single person. I don’t think that’s a natural way of being” – Jeevi, Melbourne
The Common Thread is a 6 x 5-8min video series in which Australians from all walks of life share their journeys with mental health, and tell us about the tools and tactics that have supported their recovery. Episode 6 is called ‘Top-End’ and drops next Tuesday, August 13. We made this video to start important conversations about mental health and reduce stigma. Help us spread the word by sharing this video now – every share makes a difference!
