A Father’s Day Prayer
Lord God we lift up the fathers of our families to you today, all the men in our families and our male friends and associates. We thank you for their strength, their leadership. Lord we ask that you continue to allow your angels to encamp around and about them for protection. We declare they are covered by your blood. We declare no weapon formed against them shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against them in judgement, they shall condemn.
Reveal to them who they are, not as the world sees them but how you see them beautifully and wonderfully made in your image. Reveal to them their gifts and talents. Encourage their hearts. Make them aware that the enemy tries to keep them down because of the power that you have given them. May they walk in your power and authority now. The time is now.
We cast out doubt, fear, any hindering spirit and anything that is not of you. Lord you are correcting societal wrongs, allowing a change to come. The change is here. Thank you for opening doors for them to take their rightful place, for brining them out of the shadows and into your marvelous light. Lord give them strategies and ideas.
Draw them by your Holy Spirit so they know all that you have placed in them. Show them their purpose and help them fulfill all that you have called them to be and do.
Let us wives, moms, aunts, cousins, sisters support them and encourage them. Allow us to be united as families. Any areas of our lives that we need to change, help us to take action, do what we know we need to do to have life abundantly as you already gave us according to your word.
Thank you Jesus for dying for all of our sins and remembering them no more. May we also forgive ourselves. Lord we ask that you give our men the desires of their hearts. Blessed them spiritually, financially and with good health. Bless their wives, children, love ones and families. We declare all areas of their lives whole, past hurts healed. We declare the mind of Christ be in them to lead their families as you intended from the beginning.
Thank you God for salvation and all they have need of. We honor you today God for the men you have given unto our families!
Thank you Father God, Thank You Jesus our Savior and Thank you Holy Spirit our Comforter. We are covered by your blood. So grateful to you Lord.
Amen and Amen!
