Aerial footage for the downtown area in Nashville, Tenn. that has been impacted by an explosion on Christmas morning shows significant damage to buildings, streets and vehicles.

Nashville police along with the FBI are investigating what is believed to be an “intentional” act.

Early investigation shows the explosion was caused by a suspicious vehicle.

Police described the vehicle, parked in the heart of Tennessee’s capital city at 6 a.m. CST on Friday, as an RV, a recreational vehicle of a type that could range from a motor home to a camper trailer.

The blast ravaged the heart of the city, considered the capital of U.S. country music. It damaged nearby vehicles and buildings, launching black smoke into the sky that could be seen for miles
